There are a number of bars in the Greater Cincinnati area. Like, a lot. So opening a new one is always a risk, the folks at Four Entertainment Group (4EG) know that, and yet they opened the Rosedale Bar in Over the Rhine in 2017. Looking at the space though, it quickly becomes clear that this is a bar that sets itself apart from the rest. We were thrilled to create this VR tour of their venue.
A truly distinguished space, filled with all the markers of a high class location, with exposed brick walls, a fireplace, and some gorgeous upholstered furniture for seating, you can see this is the kind of place that doesn’t just serve a cheap beer, but a full experience. Just imagine sitting in one of those yellow chairs, the cushion comforts you as you lean back, the wingbacks frame your head as you slowly sip and enjoy your bourbon, and the fireplace lends a comfortable warmth just by its appearance.
But that’s not all there is to this place! Next to the fireplace, you probably saw the pool table, but you might have missed the sit down Miss Pacman arcade table! Exposed ductwork gives a raw industrial feel that hints at some of the more hip and entertaining crowds that can pack the room. Make sure to check out the second bar upstairs, which can be rented out for private parties and is open to the public on the weekends. On the outside, you an catch a glimpse of the stone archway that is the bar’s namesake. On the outside, it reads “Kenton County Infirmary” but on the inside seen from the outdoor patio, it reads “Rosedale Manor.”
